SALES REPRESENTATIVE

 

We are looking for an enterprising, self-starting individual to join our company as an Sales Representative. As part of our team, you recognize and cultivate potential sales leads, occasionally travel to meet with prospective clients, and endeavour to transform one-off sales into lasting beneficial relationships. You have the flexibility to work from home or the office.  You work under a sales manager, building relationships with existing and potential customers. You use your skills in deal closing, direct sales and B2B sales in a niche market to demonstrate to leads how our products can benefit their projects.

At DEKKO we design, manufacture and install a complete line of industry leading lightweight cladding and fire pits that inspire architects and designers around the world.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • A self-starting personality with a spirit of entrepreneurship
  • Detail-oriented and motivated
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience and thorough understanding of sales practices
  • Excellent computer and communication skills (email, phone and Zoom)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Special consideration for candidates with experience in building materials in the hospitality and/or construction industry
  • Special consideration for experience in understanding and evaluating construction plans and specifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, and how they can benefit our customers
  • Foster relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage and track multiple ongoing client proposals and projects for architects designers and homeowners
  • Support customers after initial sale to ensure satisfaction and realize opportunities for further sales
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, liaise effectively and build positive relationships with all sales support departments including production, shipping and accounting
